I am getting a warning on my 2003 Ford fiesta LX. EAC Fail. Electronic Accelerator Control I understand. It`s hard to start and there is a funny smell. Petrol I think. Could it be something I could sort myself. I called the RAC the guy put his laptop on it and said it was showing no faults. Tonight It did it again ( sun ). Any help would be great 1224cc petrol. 71400 miles.
