e815 took a bath, are any new phones coming out soon?

My friend spilled a glass of water on my e815. It still makes calls but the lcd is dead. I've considered trying to repair it myself with broken ones from ebay but I feel that it is the right time for a new phone. I've been scouring the forums looking for when the new phones will hit verizon, but I can't find any dates. I'm a big texter and picture taker. I was thinking about the evn, the samsung u370, or possibly the lg8600 or 8300.

Any recommendations on current phones would be good, but I'm really looking to see if anyone has any info on up and coming phones.
 
With regard to waiting for upcoming phones on verizon, It seems pretty pointless. The delay between when we know about it and the actual release is ridiculous, and by that time there will already be another phone "just a few weeks away" and you will always be waiting. The e815 is an amazing phone and in my opinion there is no real upgrade offered at this time. I replaced mine with a KRZR last week, and I'm happy, but its no e815, so I just purchased an i730 PDA on ebay. The enV is a great phone, especially if you text a lot. They keyboard is great, the screens are very clear and it has a 2mpx cam. I find the 8600 difficult to text on due to the completely flat keypad, although the buttons are large and well spaced. Other than that the 8600 is a pretty decent phone, but I would highly recommend the enV. Good luck

Same thing happened to my moms a week ago.

I just bought an Amp'd mobile 'hollywood' phone and swapped out the parts.

cost me $30 and works perfectly, took 30 minutes.
