E71 Help

I picked up a Nokie E71 a while back. When I started txting, I discovered that my messages take an abnormally long time to be received by the person I'm sending it to.

My messages don't end up in the Outbox or anything. My phone confirms that it's been sent, but my friend receives the txt an hour (long time) after I've sent it. This didn't happen when I was using the N73.

Is there anyway I can fix this problem ?

Help is much appreciated.
 
not sure that there is a fix as of yet...the E71 is still relatively new so a f/w upgrade may fix this issue.

There could also be an app add on released, I know the e62 had the same problem.
