E71 Cheapest place to buy?

I've seen the prices go up for the E71 lately, not down. The E71x release (when ever the hell that will be) will not have a significant price effect on the unlocked/unbranded E71-2.
 
If close to $300 for a used e71. I might as well spend a another 10, 20 to get it brand new! If we're talking about 100 difference btwn a used or a new. Then that's a no brainer. If it is $50 or less btwn a new or used. I'll say just get it new. Amazon has the e71 in both color for $320 now.
 
I'm in no rush to get one, so unless it drops considerable, I'll wait to see what this summer holds in stores. By then I hope to snatch an new E71 around $250.
 
NokiaUSA has no more of the white one. I tried to get one during Nokia's 'glitch' a rep told me they discontinued it 3months ago. I don't know if there's any truth to that.
 
There was a thread here recently with a code for NewEgg that gets you one for $299 shipped. I'm not sure if the code is still good though or if they had white.
 
I may hold the record on the cheapest, new E71-2 purchase. Granted, this took place back in November during Black Friday weekend:

New E71-2 on eBay $389.00
MS Live 30% Rebate off original price ($116.70)
PayPay Discount 10% off original price ($38.90)
Nokia Rebate Gift Card ($50)

Total Paid $183.40

Today, the MS Live rebate is 8% and NIB E71-2s are readily available for $299 with free shipping on eBay. So $299 ($23.92) = $275.08

As far as the Nokia rebate, it's hit or miss. I submitted my S/N and they accepted it. My rebate was similar to this one for the accessory offer:

The readily available ones on eBay that I see (NIB) are the international version. Dang, If someone would just offer a US version for $275 shipped with no BS (rebates, memberships, etc.), I'd buy two ASAP.
 
Yea, I know. I ordered the grey during the special they had on Nokia. Got it for $267 after tax and shipping. $60 difference is enough to sway me to stick with the grey.

No returns at all at newegg, so the $20 premium at Amazon may be worthwhile.
