E71 Application issues

I have a Nokia E71, when ever i connect the phone to the pc and disconnect it, the installations change.

For instance, when i install anything it gets saved to the installations folder. So if its a game i move it to the GAME folder or if its anything to do with gps i move it to the SAT NAV folder.

But every application moves back to the installtion folder after i connect it to the pc. Any idea on how to fix this?

Ya, quit connecting it to your pc. Or, as Dr Tran would say: " Smash it with a hammer".

I need to connect it to the pc to install apps and transfer files.

where do you install apps, phone memory or memory card? whenever you connect via USB cable it blocks the OS from seeing the memory card. hence this is why i recommend always installing apps to phone memory, not memory card. if this is your setup, its likely the reason.
