Unfortunatly , this does not mean all nam product codes are available for update. 0569371 still lists the old firmware as being the latest.

NSU still lists the old firmware as the latest for product code 0569371. I purchased my E71-2 from NewEgg in September

meh, I changed my product code so that I could upgrade last night. I've found the upgrade a bit underwhelming, as the camera still sucks.

The 100 version of the E71 firmware is pretty stable, and upgrading is not worth losing the ability to hack your phone, IMHO.

LOL yes... I completely forgot about that setting. So at least that's fixed!

I just upgraded last night. So far its good, with the biggest thing being able to go to silent mode by pressing #. Other than that I'm really intersted to see if it fixes the RF issue. ha what sucks is that the place where I experience the crappy RF is at school, and I won't be returning until monday. Ha so if anybody finds out beforehand let us know, thanks

Different hardware, i don't think so. I don't know the reasoning for the different product codes, but i do know there are differences in what apps came with both NAM product codes from my experience. On the 0569371, Tetris and Tiger Woods came installed, on the other code, those games were not there, but another app was there in the Communications folder i believe.

On a fresh restart, the first time you load up your contact scree, I notice it to be a lot more laggy than the old firmware was. Before it was almost instant....now there is a second or so delay (this is with 100+ contacts loaded).
