E70-2 somewhat slow...any fixe?

my nokia e70-2 runs somewhat slow. AT first this didnt bother me, but after using it for about a month its starting to bug me. Seems that my E61 was a good deal faster. I have the latest firmware as of around the end of January.... any other ideas? maybe there is some setting I have on that I overlooked? I dont really have any/many apps installed. I am using a different theme than it came with but its just an OS X look alike theme and didn't change too much....

any help would be much appreciated

1. Go into your LOG application, and under settings, reduce it to 10 days, or 1 if you can handle that. Either one will make a huge difference if it's been set on 30 days.

2. Try to reorganize the menu so that you don't have to scroll. In other words, where your menu screen shows 3x4 icons, try to only have that many on there, no extra rows that you have to scroll up or down to. Do this in every folder and whatnot, and you'll notice a bit of a speed boost, as well.
 
it's not really scroling that's the problem, its changing screens. For example: when sending a txt msg it takes a good 2-3sec+ in some cases to load the screen to begin typing a txt msg... I'll try the log suggestion, thanks for that

any other advice? appreciate it!
