I have the E65 right now, and to tell you its great all around for me.
I've posted about all the positive points that I really like about this phone.
Buuuuuut,
I'm thinking about the N95.
Soooooo,
Has anyone made the switch from the E65 to the N95?
Thoughts....
Also how much bigger is the N95 vs the E65? The E65 to me is just right, but I know the N95 will be bigger. Any side by side pic's of the E65 and N95?
Also, has anyone tried to upload a 5 MP picture via EDGE to Flickr or email? How long does that take? I had a N73 a while back and for a 3 MP it took a good 3-4 minutes, if I remember.
Might have to sell my "Like New Mocha E65" (shameless plug) if you guys talk me in to the N95.

I was using an E65 and I just got my new N95 yesterday. I have to say there are definitely some pros and cons to making the switch.

Pros (reasons IN FAVOR of switching from E65 to N95):
1. MUCH bigger screen. That .4" difference or whatever really makes a difference.
2. 5 MP Camera that behaves like a camera. I especially love the mechanical lens cover (I was worried about my E65's lens being scratched all the time).
3. Size. Its not that much bigger, imo. Its bigger on paper, but it feels lighter, so the net result is that you don't feel like you're carrying around a much bigger device.
4. Standard audio jack, GPS, and other upgraded features.

Cons (reasons AGAINST switching from E65 to N95):
1. Build quality. Sorry, but there is no comparison here. The N95 is certainly adequate and I have not found any "flaws" so far, but the E65 is built like a tank. So, I think the E65 spoiled me on build quality. The slider on the E65 snaps open and closed very nicely, the slider on the N95 snaps open nicely, but the sound and feel of it on closing is muted (probably because of the dual slider function--it doesn't stop abruptly because it can keep going into the music/media control position.
2. Materials. This probably fits under build quality too, but one thing I loved about the E65 was the leather-y finish on the battery cover. Obviously, the N95 doesn't have it and I miss it. Maybe that's something that can be added aftermarket... Also, I mentioned about that the device feels really light, but right now, having just come from using the very solid E65, it makes the N95 feel kind of hollow.

Overall, I do not think you will be disappointed by the switch. Good luck!

Hey, thanks. Sounds like you liked the E65 too.
Hard to sell it.
So do you think the N95 is a phone you can carry with you everywhere? I mean it freaks me out to carry around a $900 device to the Gym, and the park. Its bad enough witht he $450 E65.
I do hate the Nokia Pop Port, though I have a Nokia headset that allows the std headset jack.
Any word if BlackBerry connect works on the N95?
Also, can the GPS be used in "Offline Mode", as in on an airplane??
I might wait until the $800 mark, so I can sell my E65 and pay twice as much for the N95, mmm that doesn't sound too good.

Ha, yeah I'm a little bit uneasy carrying around such an expensive device, but I have always taken very good care of my phones. Additionally, my N95 came with an awesome leather case (although apparently not all of them ship with it). Check out the forums, people have posted pictures of it.

Don't know about Blackberry connect because I don't use it.

I agree, letting go of my E65 was tough, but the new features of the N95 were just too overwhelming to ignore.
