E62 Voice Dialing is dead

So I've had my E62 for about a week and a half and loved it up until yesterday.
This is what is going on:
When I go to voice dial, I get the Speak Now command and say a name, as soon as it looks as if its heard the name and will bring up the contact, the Speak Now box disappears like I've hit cancel. Also, after closing, I can't hold the voice dial button and get the Speak Now box to come up again without hitting the end call button a bunch of times. This was happening with just one particular contact but has now extended to all my contacts.

This is what I've tried:
1. I sync my contacts from iSync in Mac OS X using a plugin, I thought that might be the issue so I cleared all the contacts out and entered one in manually. It doesn't sound like any other command that is available on the phone, the same issue is happening.

2. I did a master reset on the phone using *#7370# and loaded my contacts back on as well as on another attempt entering one contact manually. No luck.

3. I checked for a firmware update, I have the latest firmware.

4. Reinstalled the OS, again using the same two methods that I described before...still nothing.

5. Last resort...called Cingular, they sent me an update for *8 voice dialing...obviously it didn't help.

Is there something I'm missing? This is also my first symbian phone so I'm a little more lost than normal. Thanks guys!

Wirelessly posted (Nokia N73 on Tmobile EDGE: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

Sorry to say i think its just a firmware bug. My N73 occasionally does the same thing, reboot usually solves the problem.

What I ended up doing was doing another hard reset and that seemed to fix it until today when the gremlins struck again. I did two power cycles and voice dial seems to be working again but I haven't had a chance to try it completely. I sure hope that this firmware bug gets fixed quickly because it'll be a royal pain in the butt to power cycle my phone every 3 days (I rarely if ever turn it off, is this ok to do or not?).

On a side note, does anyone know whether the firmware updates get pushed to the phone as well as through Nokia's software updater?
