E62 soooo SLOW vs. E61!

SHORT VERSION : I got a E62 and it's much slower than the E61 that i had before. Sound is out of sync with gameplay, or keypad presses.
The E62 is branded, I can unbrand it but I can't go back to the branded version after. NSU trick won't work, I can only use the chinese firmware.

Anyone unbranded a E62 and got it to go as fast as the E61?

As a user who had a E61 for 8 months, I can feel right away the difference of speed when I got a E62 (dont ask why I switched).

On the E61, loading a menu would take 1 second as the E62 would take long enough for me to start wondering if I did press the button or not.
Also, when playing games such as Skyforce, on the E61, the sound syncs with the gameplay. On the E62, the sound is about .5 seconds behind the gameplay.


I am aware the E62 is internally different for the processor and ram. It has about 10mb less RAM and the applications run on the FLASH memory instead of fully loading onto the RAM.

Now this hasnt gotten to explain why the E62 would be SOOO much slower than the E61 or most other S60v3 phones.

My only remaining assumption would be the fact that the E62 is branded and some extra crap is running in the background that Im not aware of. AFAIK, only extra apps are installed, but are only executed manually (features).

Im thinking of unbranding the E62, but if I do so, I cant go back after. The NSU trick no longer works as Nokia blocked reflashing now. I can only flash with Phoenix, and only the chinese firmware is available for it

Anyone did this before? to unbrand a E62 and notice a big difference in speed?
 
Ive never done this before, nor have I owned an E62, but I have a friend who complains of menu lag and general sluggishness of the phone all the time. After he flashed to the newest fw, he noticed quite a difference he said. Even though you told us not to ask, I just gotta know... why switch???
 
I unbranded mine before the NSU trick was locked out, and it is still quite sluggish. Picodrive is sluggish with sounds turned on, menus are slow, and only smartmovie will play videos correctly.
 
Well I flashed it with the chinese firmware yesturday and the phone is a LOT faster in terms of menu navigation.

However, sounds and gameplay are still out of sync for games, but aside from that, the phone is a lot faster!
