e62 question

Hey, I havebeen searching for a while and no one seems to have a definite answer...Can the e62 be unlocked and used on tmobile, with all of the features...etc...and if so, where can you get it unlocked, i checked places like gsmphonesource and they dont have it...I have looked all over and i cant find any help, and i have found one to buy, so if anyone can help me, that would be great. Thanks

Y not just get the E61, no cingular crap, or crippled java and you get Wifi with the E61

You can request an unlock code from cingular if it is a cingular branded phone and you have cingular service. But I am unaware of a company who can unlock the device.

Flashing with unbranded firmware will suffice, changing product code will just help should there be an update available.

E62 is a BB5 phone, there's no unlocking solution for BB5 outside of obtaining the code from the provider. I know a person who got an E62 that was bought outright, he got the code very quickly. He's using it with AT&T Wireless SIM. Using it with T-Mobile will be just as easy — just get the settings from the Nokia site and you'll be good to go.
