E62 firmware manipulation???

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there a program available for the E62 (and E61) that allows you to see all the files on your phone? Could you just use that program (I think it's FExplorer) to delete or manipulate (as there is a program that allows you to rewrite other files) to allows all java scripts or remove the branding cingular has put on the firmware? It would be as simple as searching an unbranded E62's files and "copying" the files in the brand E62. Anyone thought of this?

Cheers
Stephen

EDIT***

I could do it, but I don't want to brick my old E62 and I don't have the files for the unbranded E62, so someone would have to donate the phone to me for a bit (and with VERY little risk) and risk me bricking that phone as well. BUT hey, there's always Phoenix right?

You can't flash to the generic anymore, was my understanding. I have tried and it will not flash bc Phoenix flashes the phone with the latest version, which is the Cingular branded version.

This will not work anymore because Nokia closed the loophole in NSU that allowed you to reapply firmware, and being that there isn't newer firmware out for the e62, you can't "upgrade" either.
