E62 and MiniSD WiFi

I would like an E61 but I can get an E62 for much less money through Cingular. The thing I really want is WiFi. Do any of you know if I can use a MiniSD WiFi card with the E62?

That is an excellent question. I suspect the answer is going to be that drivers don't exist and that the phone wouldn't be programmed to switch from wifi to EDGE and back like the E61. I'm interested to hear the opinions on this...

plus I don't think it would be physically possible to put a mini sd wifi card considering that card doesn't go all the way it... it sticks out a bit... which will conflict with the fitting of your battery cover. I knew a co-worker who had a mini sd wifi card for his hp 6500 phone... and i remember the card sticking out of the slot.

If wifi is that important a feature to you, then just get the E61, I have it and I use wifi a lot, I wouldn't touch an E62, but thats just me.

i already sent an email to the manufacturer of one of this minisd wifi, the answer is a big NO...

I have an E61 and strongly believe in wifi. It saves you roaming fees, it gives you a better connection EDGE, and it effectively enhances your coverage.
