e61 WLAN as good as E65 WLAN?

I just got an E65 but am considering going back to an E61 that I had about 8 months ago, only because I REALLY miss QWERTY. The thing is, when I had the E61 the WLAN would sometimes restart the phone while in use, very randomly, such as while checking EMail, etc. I then moved to an E70-2, and the restarting also happened, but much more frequently! Finally, the E65 came out and I picked one up. This thing is amazing, WLAN works fantastic and has never caused a random restart. Only this is that I miss QWERTY and want to go back to the E61 now...


so basically, has the random restarting been fixed on the E61? Maybe it was because I had an old firmware (don't remember upgrading it), or maybe a faulty phone or something? I'm not sure if this is a common problem (WLAN causing restarts). SO- IS the WLAN on the E61 functionally the same as that on the E65? Any other comments on the matter?

WLAN should work the same across all phones that support it. The only reason your phone would restart while using it is based on firmware errors and not any variation of WLAN. I believe the E61 at least has had a firmware update since you used it, so it should be fixed if it was a known error.
