E61 installed applications won't start

Hi,

Does anyone have this problem...

I have applications installed and use them all the time then once every 1 or 2 weeks half of the appps shown in my "installations" folder won't open/start-up...BUT if I install/uninstall an app all of a sudden all previously "frozen" apps will work again. Seems like something is causing them to hang up and freeze. Could it be I have installed/unistalled a bad program which has left some bugs on my phone? Its not all that bad since I usually keep the .sis files on my phone for programs that I use but the frustrating thing is when a program like BestAlarms freezes then the alarms dont go off and I miss things.

Anyone run across this prob and have any ides why it happens? Please let me know.

I've experienced this issue but only w/ specific programs. I had it happen once (using v2.xx firmware, that is) with Reuters news and with Calcium. Now that i'm using v3.06xx new firmware, it hasn't happened except with Calcium, which I no longer use.
 
I've reinstalled some of the problem programs onto my phone memory instead of the sd memory and that seemed to fix the issues so far. but is this what I am going to have to do for all future programs...install on phone instead of memory card???
 
I just had it happen again (I'm still on the newest firmware available btw) DivX gave me the same problem. It was initially installed on the memory card. I simply reinstalled DivX again directly over top of the non-functioning version and this has resolved the problem.

I dont think it matters if you install a given program on phone or card, this issue can still happen. I would personally rather it happen on the memory card rather than the phone memory anyways. Most of my apps are on my card. I prefer to leave the phone memory fairly wide open except for specific programs.
