Please tell me ... why ... there still many people choose 9300i than E61.
Is 9300i is better than E61? Or E61 better than 9300i?
What is the plus/minus for both phone?

What is PDAPhone?
What is SmartPhone?
What is the difference?
Nokia E61 is PDAPhone or SmartPhone?
 
Some people like the different form factors, some like keyboards that tuck away.

PDA phone = HTC MDA, TYTN, 8525, Treos, etc

Smartphone = S60 phones, MS smartphones (SDA, Dash)
 
then why did you ask?
personaly i like the E61/E62 because it's alot slimmer, and it's running the latest version of symbian. (
 
Well, the 9300i is GSM 900/1800/1900. The E61 is GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and also supports UMTS 2100. They both support WiFi. Practically this means that the E61 will give you coverage in more places in the world. Whether this matters to you depends on your carrier, where you live, and your travel patterns. Without any information it is hard to say anything useful. It might well be a clear deciding factor though if you happen to live somewhere where your carrier uses GSM 850 or you absolutely need to be able to roam in Japan (UMTS 2100).

If you happen to live/travel in places with UMTS 2100, that also means faster data on the E61.

One can argue about the form factor. It's a matter of personal preference really.

Series 80 vs Series 60v3... I suspect series 60v3 has more future, but right now they seem to have about the same amount of software available.

I noticed you had mentioned that you couldnt edit some of your posts and I've been having some issues with it as well. I've been able to edit but it's been real laggy and sometimes hofo doesnt respond and I have to reload. Are you not able to get to the edit screen at all?
 
i prefer the 9xxx series to the E61 as I can hand the phone to someone (read: girlfriend) and ask her to dial a number for me (or if she just asks to use my phone) and she can figure out how to dial a number as it looks like a standard phone on the outside. Series 40 is fast, so I can type out a quick txt or look up a number without going through a bunch of menus.

Foldaway keyboard is nice and it is a bit wider and nicer on those phones than e61. That being said, s80 is super old and no one is really developing for it anymore. The new communicator should be a S60 v3 device if/when they decide to make it. I am saving now as I am sure it will take a bit and cost a bit more.
 
it is... and it should be out after the N95, making it harder for all of us to decide which one to get, unless of course you can afford both...
