E61 Help, Router and Mail

I have a linksys router set to 64 bit protection because I dont like having to type in a 26 number code for each device and was wondering whats better? WPA or WEP? I have a macbook pro that also uses the wifi so they have to be compatible.

I just setup the email client on the e61, which was very easy but now i have 365 messages in my inbox, how do i delete them from the phone without doiong it from the server?
 
WPA2, or WPA if that's all that is available. You shouldn't need to type in a 26 character code regardless of the key length, more than once.

If you like people nearby snooping confidential information over your wireless connection, go ahead and stick with a short WEP key because it's too hard to type a few digits one time per device. Yikes.
