E61 firmware and numbers not working in applications

Ok, so In September, or early October, I updated my firmware on my E61, and ever since, my numbers don't work in other applications. Calcium won't recognize my inputs, and other java games won't either.

Also, when I'm in the web browser, the * and # keys don't zoom anymore...

What happened?
 
I think there are other threads about the browser portion that discuss this. If memory serves, you need to hold the blue function key and then press the * or # (or other keys you wish to use) when in the browser.
