E61: Cannot input a "J" when trying to Activate a Tom Tom Map

Dear all,
It's been mentioned elsewhere in the Forum, but without any real answer to the problem / solution:

When trying to Input an Activation Code for a Tom Tom Map, all symbols / letters on the Keyboard can be input, EXCEPT letter "J". With or without the Function Key, I always get a "#".

Phone was bought in Hong Kong and therefore has a Chinese / English ROM. I only use the English, which works flawlessly, until this....

it's been mentioned before, it has to do with your fw/keypad settings, your best bet would be to email tom tom about this.

Did you try holding the Function key on your E61 when inputting the "J" ?

so yeah...tell him to change the product code and reflash his e61 and it will be fine

Have changed product code to something European with NSS, (can't remember which one), then updated to latest (3.x) Firmware version with Nokia Software Updater, and problem PERSISTS!!. Phone was flashed indeed, as some applications in the firmware (Chinese-English dictionary, for instance) disappeared, and phone shows indeed new Firmware version. This is really weird... Any help guys?
