E61 Battery Cover can be CUT, so as to make the miniSD Accessible, bad or good idea?

you would have to cut little grooves into the side of the phone. I'm not sure if the phones side is thick enough for that. not to mention the parts where the sliding mechanism meets the side of the phone would not be stable when opened because their isn't enough space at the bottom of the phone. this has got me wondering though, and penciling on my e62 . you would almost have to build your own custom housing. i wonder if you could use a smaller battery and tuck the qwerty under the screen, like an HTC wizard/8125. use a smaller battery, or two of them in each compartment, and lay both antennas horizontaly, one for each part. hmm. when it was closed you would just have this big, square screen with the navigation controls. and with the extra space on the bottom you could add some extra keys or put the other antenna there. just a thought, or three.

you could also do a swivel qwerty, use a 7370 kind of design, that would be cool.

through the inspecting and speculating on my phone i have discovered that my Cingular branded E62 was made in Finland, hmm go figure

bummer, never got the time... got a call, i had to run to one of our system control room to finalize some new system network that has to be up and running, such is the life on a techie on call...
