E50 UK version question

I just bought the following phone from mobileplanet:

http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=136925

This is the black version with camera - UK version.

The guy said the only difference between this and the US version is this one comes with the UK plug, but they include an adapter. I'm not worried about the plug because I can use the plug from my nokia bluetooth headset to charge the phone. I was concerned about anything else being different though, like the firmware, etc.

Does anyone have the UK version of the E50 and can tell me if there are any other differences other than the plug? Thanks.

I have the same version. Works fine. Only difference would be any branding, I believe. I'd use NSU to update the firmware if necessary, too.

the UK version will have the voice of Ellen on the Text to Speech, and the UK plug charger, which btw i like, and is also made in Finland... other than that everything will be the same...

I received the phone today. I have 2 questions:

1) Is the back cover supposed to lock in place? It seems like it should lock, but I can remove mine without pushing the button. It's not lose, but I can remove it if I stick my fingernail in either of the bottom sides.

2) I am trying to transfer the contacts from my 6230 to this phone using the Transfer Data under Tools/Transfer. I am using Bluetooth and can pair the phones fine, but when I select Contacts it says receiving contacts then it says "Some data not copied" and it ends the bluetooth connection. I've tried Infrared and the same thing happens. Is there something else I need to do for this?

Thanks.

See if you backup the contact in PC Suite and then restore them to the E50.
Transfer wizard works great if its from one s60 to another but may not if its a different platform.
about the battery latch thingy....when you press it....does it feel springy?

Thanks. I was able to backup the data from the 6230 and restore it using PC Suite. It copied all my contacts, which is all I cared about.

Yes, when I press the the button it feels springy, but the cover doen't lock.
