E50 Mail Problem

I am using the standard messaging prog on my e50 and when I use it to get my Gmail e-mail, I have problems. I am not sure if this is b/c of auto-retrieve or not, but messages that have not been read disappear from my inbox on the next sync. I have synced manually and a couple times and the message stayed, but when I went back to auto retrieve it lost the messages again. This has happened a couple of times when I manually updated my mailbox...but not recently. I amd using my Gmail plug-in for my active standby instead of the default notification.

Any Help Please!!! its driving me nuts!!!
 
it happened again, this time I manually updated it. I opened the message and read it. After, quit the app and disconnected. I reconnected to get new messages and the message was removed from my inbox. I really want to be able to auto update....but I also want to be able to read the messages I get.
 
Search the Forums for proper gmail settings for S60v3. I know their has been much discussion regarding the problems that people seemed to have w/ gmail. I remember a bunch of discussion in the "official E61 thread" and the info will apply to the E50 as well.
