Every couple of months, I have to dump a chat name and get a new one. Why you may ask? Because of these creepy fucking guys that treat every aspect of the internet as their own personal chick-finder.

There are specific chat rooms designated for people that are looking to hook up. That is where these fucksticks should be.

If I am in a chat room where the only topic under discussion is religion, that does not mean I want to be hit on! :mad:

In a photography chat, I do not want to give out my asl. I want to talk about photography.

Fucking cockmonkeys! What the hell is wrong here? In the last year I've had 7 different user ids. Sometimes when I log on with an id, there will be 10 messages waiting, from men that I've never spoken to. And then they will keep messaging me. Sometimes the messages get really abusive when I don't answer.

I don't understand. I don't put my picture on those profiles. I don't say anything that suggests I want that kind of attention. Do I have to start pretending I'm a guy to get them to leave me alone? Or will that just attract even more of them?

I want these pathetic assheads to confine their attentions to the women (or men) who are soliciting them! I go to the internet to be social, not to get laid.

I'd go out and talk to people "irl," but they are even worse.

One of these days I'm going to give up on the human race altogether and retire to a distant cave somewhere. But then they'd discover oil in it and I'd have to move. Monkeyfuckers.

I assume you're talking about Yahoo? Just change your settings to buddy list only; problem solved. Yahoo chat tends to be a moron fest as well, I usually only go on IRC. (which can be just as bad, depending on the channel...)

yup depends on where you are, yahoo is great fun if you wanna see privates or have people showing you them having sex :frown:. but i find it dosen't matter where you go, you can always find e-stalkers. i hate it when your invisible and people still can see you. your hiding from them most likely, so why irritate? well cause they OWN you :confuse: sorry to hear of you e-stalkers, ummm need another one? :cool:
 
Arg. Yeah I'm mostly on Yahoo, buncha others too, but I use gaim to connect.

I stand by my principles, however. I should be able to use the net unmolested. Except for the pope. He's celibate, ancient, and growing senile. If worst comes to worst, I'll distract him with something shiny.

That's one of the reasons I quit using Yahoo, besides just hating them as a company. Of course, you can just block people on a case by case basis too. Not sure how gAIM supports those features though, as I don't use it.

I've had no problems with this on AIM or Jabber though.

Yeah, and school kids should be able to walk to the bus stop without being molested. Or go to church... but that's reality.

Until one of us can rule the world and get rid of all the mentally deficients we're stuck dealing with people that want to talk to us. (Trust me, I've got great plans for making the world a better place when I'm in charge.)

Basically.. well... you're gonna have to do something. Any examples of your screennames? I mean names like "HgBbs" are gonna make net pervs think "Huge Boobs" when you meant "Hug Babes" (Sorry, lame but you get the point.)

Look at mine, UberSkippy.... man? Woman? Fat ugly donkey fucker? Midget in a Tijuana Ping Pong ball show? You just don't know based on that name.
 
Those user ids are set aside to only deal with wtf.com. And I've had no problems yet.

Hmm. I never thought about it that way. Perhaps a user id like "pen>sword" is too suggestive.
