DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

Dyno sheet looks really good.
I guess I should have explained "cornering the market" better. One would think all or a majority of the dudes building the 117s and 124s would just go with a Procharger or Turbos since they are less expensive for the same results...But they aren't...Hmmm

One has to wonder why not then. My guess, yes it is a guess becauseI am not a pro engine builder or anything like that, is engine reliability and ridability.

What is the life expectancy of an engine with a Pro-Charger or Turbo? That would really be nice to know.
 
Mr. Fast Bagger, No one is knocking the pro-charger guys. They are making great power and nobody cares how. Power is Power. The only one knocking any thing is you. By the way where is your Dyno sheet? I will be at the Brute Horsepower Shootout at Daytona in March with my Hemi. If you personally would like to pull against me that would be fun. Thanks,George
 
Let me clear something up I'm not knocking anything only questioning a dyno sheet.If you go to page 126 in this forum 5 post you'll see my dyno sheet on the bike I previously owned.It was completely stock'07 FLHTC except for the Pro-charger and dyno'd at 123hp/108tq.I'd say that is very respectable for what it was.The bike I presently own has not yet been built but will be within the next two months.Just waiting for the weather to go to hell before it get's torn down.The dyno sheet will be posted for all to see.If you would like I could PM you the sheet if you would like.Ride Safe
 
My own has one on it 08 bagger with 7,000 miles on it still gets 38/40 miles M/P/G and make 125hp stock motor with blower.

But it is like anything you beat it hard enuffffff it will break!!!!!!!! I have many of them out there and no Probs that I can tell you of.
 
Hay George. I wish I could go I would love to run one against you but thats not going to happen. But Pro Charger will be there when bike week happens with a 210 hp plus bagger I can tell Walt and Sergio from Procharger about. I know they would be happy to run one. When I go to dyno shoot out I bring the my high horse power engines that make 300 / 530 hp plus I never lose. LOL LOL bikes run 7.8 in a 1/4 mile and can ride them on the street. But again they are not Harleys.....

PS.. I do have a customer with one in Jacksonville FL. With a 95 inch motor with motor work and a 8 psi blower on it making 157hp at the wheel I can ask him... Star Racing tuned the bike for me down there.

Thanks for the info on the procharger on your bike. That is the kind of info that isn't out and about for the everyday biker dude on the procharger. I think the price tag is what turns folks away right off the back.

I too have me an engine with the Hemi Heads and built by the Master Dieber and I can't tell you how pleased I am with it and especially because you can ride the chit out of it. And I
can tell you that you can ride the hell out of these engines when he gets his hands on them.

Would definitely like to see the Hemi/Dieber and ProCharger combo on an engine! That really would be the bike to beat...

Mr. FastBagger, Or should We say Mr. Not So FastBagger for now because the bike you "presently own has not yet been built". I would like to know why you are questioning Plows dyno sheet? Do you not trust the man who dynoed the bike? Joes Cycle Repair is a reputable business with customers from all over the country, so that can't be it! Do you not trust the man who posted it? I know for a fact that this man has the highest integrity and I am proud to call him friend. I would even say the President of the United States would vouch for him, so that can't be it! Do you believe that you can't get 151 HP out of 117 CI? Well that is our goal around here out of a naturally aspirated V-Twin 1.27 HP per CI. Or is it that beautiful TQ line 110 ft-lbs at 2000 rpm and never falling below 125ft-lbs 2600-6300 rpm with the maximum of 140 ft-lbs 3800-4800 rpm? I take these numbers for granted, it is a everyday thing and we have stacks of dyno sheets to back it up. I would like to know what you are questioning?
To change up. When did a S/E 110 become a stock engine? A stock engine is a 96 CI. So if you took a stock 96 turned it into a 110 then put you Pro-Charger on . Who would spend more money? What about the Timken conversion welding or replacing the flywheel the gear drive cams so the chains don't break or do you not have to do that stuff? Why wait for winter to do the build? Around here it is a 5 day turn key job. All case work done in house. Just would like to Know?
I think the Pro Charger is Great. I Know they have the ability to make more horsepower than a naturally aspirated engine. I don't think it is any cheaper. It's hard to have a sleeper with all that stuff hanging off of the side. Maybe TimBone will let me build one. Everyone knows there is more than one way to skin a cat. Thanks, George
 
If my memory serves me right I believe the SE bikes come with 110's dont they?Being these 117's are cheaper to build than running a Pro-Charger what does one cost out the door incl.fuel management system,you keep saying how much cheaper they are?Maybe if I get one of your motors than I could call myself Mr.Fastbagger again.
