DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

What is all the talk about the paper hot rod sheet. I still think that putting my bike on a back of a dyno truck takes the fun out of riding it.
Put it on the pavement next to the other guy that thinks his motor is faster and twist the wrist... drop a flag! Dump the clutch Hold on for the ride of your life. Feal the tire slippin under you side too side. Try to keep it straight as your ears are ringing you look to your side and see the person next to you holdin on for life and hoping that he pulls you on the big end. Now! no dyno can give you that sensation of adrenalin, fear, and self satisfaction. Sit on it! Start it! Rev it! Click it! Dump it! and Ride it!!!!!
Slow Joe

Actually, getting a bike on the dyno is what helps PUT THE FUN in riding. Last time I checked they are very useful for tuning, especially on EFI bikes. Also nice to see what gains were made based on upgrades that were done. But I agree that it doesnt matter what #'s you make, or even if you have a faster bike if you dont know how to ride it.

BTW Joe WHILE YOUR SPINNING, IM WINNING

Finally someone that thinks the sameway I do.When I hear someone talking crap I'm the first one to invite them to line 'em up.They usually shut up.

Stage II 103 /SERT/SE 4" slip-ons /Oil Cooler / stock heads

I've just added dresser dual headers , no change in the curve slight drop in over all power, and nice drop in heat. Sound is WAY better.

Your right! I'm spinning and your winning
But, I would look real good as I got beat and they all will remember the guy
that was all over the road with style and great skills. before they remember you.LOL!

I enjoy a good burnout or wheelie just as much as the next guy. And I saw a video of you doing some stuff, pretty cool.
But they have their place, when im lined up next to someone. As you described in your paragraph long diatribe, wheelies and burnouts are not the goal. You dont come away looking like the guy with GREAT SKILLS. You look like the guy that doesnt know how to launch his bike.

Keep the vids coming Joe. Nice to see those tricks on a big azz bagger for a change.

Yea, we all have fun... There is a time and place for everything. All the videos
you see are no launching required. When I was racing the half mile, short tracks
and TT's I must say i didn't do to bad on the flag. But was known as the come back kid. So you are right i'm not a launcher. Ahh! the good old days. What bike do you have?
