DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

tjwallib next time you go and pull for power. turn off your knock sensor and pe. You will then be able to adjust your WOT VE tables. Make sure they sniff both front and rear cyclinder. for every 1 AFR from 13.5 I change my VE 10 so at 12.0 AFR I moved it 15 VE's smaller. This worked ok but I did need to tune WOT in the end. Also if you are able to watch the dyno pulls and hook up your laptop run your data record. you will be able to study knock events and tune your timing. It all depends on how much your dyno guy is willing to work with you.

Looks like you found what you were looking for. Hopefully you will get it sorted out and the power comes up to where it should be. One nice thing about HQ builds, if assembled and tuned correctly, they will always make the numbers they say they will. With your choice of components, I would expect at least 130 tq mid and one-teens for hp. The 575 cams, regardless of engine size, don't make the huge hp numbers. It's just part of the HQ formula. Lots of tq, let the HP fall where it may.

Good luck and good on you for doing it yourself.

S&S Super E Carb, Crane Hi-4 Fireball Ignition. White Bro's E series 2 into 1 headers and super trap mufler.
Test was not complete because rev limiter was set to low (was still building HP at 4900 RPM's when the rev limiter kicked in) and it still kicked ass over a 2009 FLHTCU 96" with stage 1!! Gonna raise my rev limiter to 6200 R's

Question on engine knock. I'm trying to adjust it from idle up through 2000 rpm's. I'm using the head quarters ignition map for HQ-0039 cams. I have 10.4:1 compression. My cylinder pressure is 165 psi hot. My idle mix is set at 13.5 and the advance @ 20 kPa is 19.25. At 40 kPa the advance drops to 15.50. I haven't monkeyed with the VE that much. Any ideas would be great. PS...can't afford a dyno right now.

I have 05 eletraglide I installed a 95" kit with 257 cams, dyno was 95 HP and 100 ft lbs of torque, I have a Vance and Hines Pro Pipe 2 into 1 header. I think it runs great. Stock injectors, I am getting ready to install heads which will help. I installed a set of 06 heads 05 heads flow the worst.

2001 Ultra, 95", 203 cams, SERT, Jackpot mufflers

85.6 HP / 99.6 Torque

Still looking for an extra .4 torque to make that magic 100 number!
