DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

Hey Guys,

For some reason I just noticed this thread. Back in Sept. 07 I went with Dave Mackie Eng. components after I read an article about his build and his 100 squared motors. I was more interested in low end torque so we changed my build. All in all I am very satisfied.

95" build
Dome/dished pistons (20 degree)
high flow valves, ported and polished heads
S/S gear drive
Mackie TC/590G cams
PC III

93 HP
101 Torque (max reached at approx 3500 rpm)

No it's not the 100 squared I was wanting but the torque is where I wanted it.

2009 Street Glide, HD Stage 1 103", flat top pistons, stock cams, stock heads, stock headpipes, S/E stage 1 A/C, S/E mufflers, stage 1 ECM download, no fuel management device.

This is a baseline run prior to planned upgrades. Peak HP: 81 Peak TQ: 94

08 Ultra Classic with:
103 CC
SE ACR Ported Heads/.30 head gaskets
10:5:1 Weisco Flattop Pistons
Power Commander III
SE 258 Cam
Bassani Headers with SE Slip-ons=96 hp 106 tq.

I do not like the way the Bassani Heades look and want to change them out however, I do not want to lose the performance, does Rinehardt make a two into one system with a dummy pipe for the left side, and if so is the system comprable to the Bassani's performance?

How loud is the Rinehardt system?

Here are my numbers on my 2005 electraglide;
78 Horses with 101 Ft pounds of torque!
Now let me be the first one to say my horsepower number is a bit low. I wanted torque-this is a bagger after all!
Here are my mods;
Gear driven Andrews TW37 cams
Free flowing air filter
Screamin eagle slip ons
Flat top pistons
I am pretty happy with the mods considering they are mild and wont get in the way of reliability!(In fact,I would say reliability has improved!)
Pic below is of my 96 wideglide-that is bone stock(For about another week!)

I was just looking at your numbers. I was thinking of putting in a 103 in my bagger at some point(when I could afford it!) but it seems like alot of expense for the numbers your showing. Are you sure your bike is tuned properly? Just seems like a 103 with that much money and parts thrown at it should have more power.

The only system that I know of with a dummy pipe on the left side is Thunderheader. Great performance pipe,sounds great,VERY LOUD! I liked them on my bike till I did a thousand miles in a day. About 400 miles into it the pipes started drivin' me nuts!

95" kit 9.5 compression stock heads s&s 510 gear drive cams. 85.55 hp 96.18 torque Screaming eagle tuner. Vance and hines true dual head pipes thunder header slipons. Changed pipes to 36" fishtail slipons remapped. Thought I might lose 3 or 4 horses not. Went to 72.29 horses 90.56 torque. Put other pipes back on remapped went back to original settings old friend told me not to mess with pipes didn't listen. He said Itold you so he was right so I ate crow still am. My bike is a 2002 electra glide ultra classic.
