DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

2006 Ultra Classic
95ci
HQ-039 Cams
Weisco Pistons
Ported Heads
Big Sucker 1
Supertrapp Slip Ons

Factory Pro 4 Gas Tuning Dyno (DyojetDyno run should show 10% to 15% higher)
79.94 BHP
91.86 FT\LBS

Tuned at 98 degree outside temp. Should be much better when the weather cools a bit

Finally gota good baseline on this bike. I bought it last year used and didn't know much about the engine other than it had Rinehart Dualsd, SE Air Cleaner and a SE Race Tuner. Numbers are not bad, I don't think
75 HP
82 Torque
Tuner said the Air Fuel was way too lean, and said it ought to be around 13.5 at idle, 13.2 midway and 13.0 full throttle....any thoughts on this? He seemed to know bikes and came recommended by the local HD Dealer but it was a Ducatti shop. It is the only dyno within 50 miles of here.

well I was going to post my Dyno run for my 2000 Ultra, nut it seems the file is too large, I need to figure out how to shrink it, so for now I will post the Numbers Max Hp was 72.4 and Max Tq was 80.7 I'll work on the file shrinking thing

Well it gets weirder. After my dyno pull posted above I put the SERT on the bike late last night and it has a map designed for a 95' motor with 127HG019 map in it which is for 257 cams, performance heads and 1550 high output. Any reason this map would be in an 88ci engine? I don't think so.......

Got my results yesterday. 86.5/104. Would have liked more HP, but the throttle response and 90 plus tq from 2200-4800 isveryfun. Don't know what the temp/humidity in shop was (cut off print out)but it was pushing 95 degrees and 50% outside. Might have the heads and cams done down the road but I am good for now. Way bettter with the Fat Cats and tune over the flash and catalyst mufflers. Night and day. Seems much cooler using my un-scientific leg thermometer.
103 Stage 2

2005 Ultra Classic with Vance and Hines true duals, V&H ovals.
SE stage 1 Air Cleaner.
SERT and Dyno'ed.

It is pushing a little over 70 horses.
Not a lot but for a stock 88 ci bike it will go, espcecially at 3000 rpm.
Thats when it really wakes up.

I did however trade it in on a 2008 Ultra this week and of course I'm going to put V&H on it.

Keep in mind I did not build for Peak HP... I'm still at a 5500 RPM Rev Limiter. Wanted good torque and good mileage.

The simple build was:

2000 EG STD 88"
Mikuni HSR 42 Flat Slide, pilot = 20, Main = 165, Needle on Groove 2, Pump = 50
Andrews 26G Cams
S&S Gear Drive
Screamin Eagle Pro 1 Slip Ons.
SE Air Filter
HD Header Pipes

Fuel Mileage: 2 Tanks, 95% Open Flat Road, Two up (350# for both of us) Running 75 MPH with a decent headwind of about 10 to 15 mph. 39.98 MPG. (was around 27 before this build)

Dyno Run: (Not Tuned - Left it where it was).
86.79 DegF, 29.92 inHg, 51% Humidity
Max HP: 78.48 @ 5500 (was a tad lean. Could go up another size on the Main Jet).
Torque Curve: Comes in at 60 Ft.Lbs @ 2100, Peaks at 91.85 @ 3750 and then back to 60# @ 5200.
Curve is pretty straight from 3000 to 4000 rpm.

Tuner said I could bump the Main up a size and probably bust 80 hp @ 5500 and figured if I did the SE Ignition with the 6200 RPM Red Line it would be mid 80's HP. (Guessing).
