DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

No worries. I had hoped for a little more but after reviewing the other SE's it's seems OK. I really just wanted the bike to run cooler. The extra gidddy up is just icing. I read some of your other posts. I haven't had any of the problems so many have had. No tranny noise at all... just the hot engine. I did change out my transmission quickly for Redline HDS. Much smoother shifting.

interesting on the bigger bore kits.
i have just purchased a Street Glide two weeks ago and they have not completed my engine work as of yet. i was prompted by a buddy of mine to get some engine work done.
his bike is a fat boy (i know this is for touring bikes)
his was a 88" 2006 model
uped to a 95" with 10.5-1 high dome pistons
Htcc ported heads , 257 SE cam, stock carb, PCII tuner he told me
Short shot exhaust his was 101 HP and 102 TQ

so the nice dude i am in purchasing a 2007 street glide with a 96" engine
decided to go to a
103" engine with 10.5-1 high dome pistons , HTCC ported heads
260 Cam , SERT, stock throttle body, and Reinhart truedual exhaust.
i was hoping to be in the 105-107 HP range (should be on the dyno late next week)

but i have a question about these injectors i had not heard any one talk about changing injectors. also should i worry about the manifold from the throttle body to the heads with changing to ported heads?
any suggestions or questions that might help me get more for my moneys worth?

OK,here are the numbers....I will scan the sheet in tomorrow so you all can look at the graph...

Keep in mind that my bike is 100% stock and this is a baseline.

2 runs
Run Type: RO
conditions: 66.58 f, 29.05 in-Hg,
Humidity: 29%
SAE: 1.0
07 FLHRI 5th gear run

Max Power = 66.75 Max Torque = 82.02

2nd run basically same environmental settings:

Max Power = 66.83 Max Torque = 82.21

The Tech that did my Dyno run said that he also ran one on 6th gear, since he was curious about the new gearing with the 07...He said that 6th hear actually GAINED 3 hp and 3 Tq. He was quite impressed with that. Of course I knew that 6th gear pulled like a scalded ape so it was not really that much of asuprise.

I am looking forward to getting the upgrades done and doing a comparision.

Will keep you all posted.

06 103 scremin eagle, s.e.r.t. ,K&N ,8mm plug wire's, 1000 mile service had dynoed, no engine mods. ,also allmost 100 degree's and high humidity, and it is FAT BOY , oh D&D BOARZILLA

Purple haze I seen you post in the CVO section, the biggest thing I see is the Borzila pipe is killing your low end, and looks like your running an SE 251 or 253 cams, the combo of those cams and Borzila pipe are pushing you curve out past the 3500rpm range.
SE cams will just not perform with some of the aftermarket cams, the Borzila pipe is a great pipe for larger engines.

If changes are in your future, I'd look at some of the Woods, HQ, FC cams and Supertrapp, Fatcat pipes.
If your ever in the Ponchatoula area give me a shout and we'll have a beer.

I know you are right about pipe , so if I put fat cat on how much more H.P & Tourqe do you think I well get? the bike really run's great ,to me and on highway it run's like champ, did you see my dyno? I know have small low end dip but I'm not planning on drag racing and some people did not belive me when I said right at 100 & 100 perfect air fuel ratio?! Right don't you think so? It's right on 13% and seen some look like rollar coaster. Do you think I'm harming bike with pipe I have now? I was going to up-grade engine mods. but must wait because of fund's, would it hurt my bike to put stock pipe's back on? would I have to re tune or remove s.e.r.t. and I would not be making power I am now, would I ? I'm not trying to argue with you but do not know what to do now I can not buy new pipe and I don't know if stock pipe would still make my power now, so please just tell me what to do for now, like I said If you think this pipe is harming my motor in any way please tell me what to do, except spending more money right now. thank you I know you are trying to help.

Purple, your not in any way harming the motor, your tune was done really well, ride it like you stole it. In your question at the CVO forum was how to get some more (I think, I may need to read it again), I was just pointing out why you had the dip, and the TQ not coming in until around the 4000rpm. Sorry If I mis-understood,
