Here's the real big ouch: The way S9 is written suggests that Brenda lied to her friends for over a year about her still being with Dylan when he had left her (In S8, everyone thinks their together and in S9 we discover they are not). Which means she really is batcrap crazy. :lol: She has this entire story about taking care of Erica with Dylan living with her that's completely fabricated.

Considering how nuts she became in S2,3, and 4, I wouldn't put it past her, but I know it's just 90210's flavor of lazy writing. :lol: Still, I enjoy the fact that their gap in writing makes her absolutely bunny boiling nuts. :lmao:

She was the worst to her. I didn't think that Kelly and Donna were that bad to her.
 
I love that their sitting up their in that scene. What have they done all night? Again, we're only privvy to bits and pieces of their night while most of it is very private, very intimate. We know most likely they didn't have sex, that they are discussing how their lives will work from now on, but it has to be so close and emotional.

And again, like on their first date, they end up high atop the city, looking down at everyone's lives, just trying to live their own in a way that people will be okay with. It's so full circle. I never realized that before. Thanks for posting the pic. :love:

Look at how many times Jennie Garth got to wear the red dress. She totally won that war.
 
:nod: Brenda's position is even worse, though, because Dylan admits to loving Kelly and Toni, connecting to them both, but he obviously has only contempt for Brenda. He never admits to feeling connected or being truly in love with her.

And he flies off to London only because Toni died. She is his rebound. He doesn't go to Kelly for comfort because he wasn't going to use her like that.

But just like his first kiss with Brenda, he'll use her readily to forget about his problems. And they obviously don't have a very strong relationship when he's in London because Brenda goes on a tour of Scotland without him. He's there in order not to be in his life. And when he's ready to get healed, he comes back to Kelly. When he's ready to live his life again, he goes to Kelly.

Brenda was puppy love and other than that, she obviously meant nothing significant to him.
