Dying Hair

I have never done it before so I guess as long as you can follow instructions and do it right or have someone do it for you.
 
I've put red highlights in my blonde hair but it didnt' last long at all. Was only $10 more, though, so I guess it wasn't too bad.
 
That's not really true, I'd nlond would look SO awful on me :goof: :lol:


I'd like red, though :nod: :sigh:
 
Yeah my hair hates being dyed, but I use a good moisturizing conditioner so it's all good.

I have light brown hair too and I hate it. I usually get highlights, I have darker brown and burgundy highlights right now that I really like.
 
I tried red and brown and bright blond now I just have streaks. I'm a natural blonde and everything else but blond looks really horrible on me :lol:
Blond eye lashes, blond eyebrows, pale skin :shrug:

I envy brunettes. Most can wear anything they like :sigh:
 
Does dying your hair that often damage it? Or do you condition it well? I have blonde hair and it gets pretty dry and damaged if I highlight it very often. :look:
 
I don't mind trying red but I don't want it to be bright red. It's not going to match me. :lol:
 
I dyed my hair once and I totally love it. I don't know what name that color has in English, but anyway, when you were inside the hair looked dark, like a very dark purple, so beautiful, then when I was out in the sun it looked red, SO beautiful :sigh::sigh::sigh:

Then I tried dying it again, to keep the color, but this time I used a different color, it didn't get red, it was supposed to be just the very dark purple. But my hair got horrible horrible horrible with it, I don't know what happened, it just got so....how can I say that in English, "dry"? :confused: And it got me MONTHS to get it back to normal :( So I gave up after that :lol:

And after it got back to normal, it got so beautiful that I never wanted to color it again, I LOVE it's natural color so much :sigh: :love::love::love:

I actually have a red head wig but that shade of red is too bright. :lol:

True, at least figuring out what you want to color your hair is a lot easier than figuring out what tattoo you should get. :lol:
 
I'm tempted to color my hair fully (the closest I've gotten were streaks for a year). Maybe brown or dark red/violet. :look: I guess this is what happens when you nonchalantly look through hair color products.

Anyone else having the urge to color their hair? Or at least wonder what color you plan to do your hair?
