I bought it at Blockbuster previewed for like 12.00 but, it was a horrible movie. Such a rip-off, I just hated it!

I will admit that I prefer director's cut but as long as they add a substantial amount of minutes to the film. I still don't really understand the Superbit DVD. I have Snatch DVD on Superbit but I haven't watched it yet. I can't stand buying a DVD that has no special features and just has the movie. That's ridiculous.

Probably Sleepless in Seattle. I got it out of the $5 bin in Walmart. I like the movie, when I catch it on tv, so I figured it would be a nice addition to my collection, but I haven't watched it once. It's not a movie I love, and I guess that was my biggest mistake, buying it and knowing that I only really liked it rather than loved it.

Another one would be Dead Like Me seasons 1 and 2. It's a great show, and its funny. I rank it pretty high on my list of tv shows, but now, after having seen the whole series and knowing there's nothing else, I just never feel in the mood to watch it. I haven't taken it out of the case besides to put it in my organizer I take to college with me, and I haven't watched it at all.

Great thread! We had one of these but it dissapeared lol Glad to see the subject back.

I don't regret buying any movie 'till now. :look: I buy movies I know I'll like or ones I've seen and can't live without. :)

I lied I DO regret buying full frame DVDs.... I need to be more careful. I'll be trying to return Eurotrip (full frame) for the widescreen version. I can't even look at the DVD without feeling fiery anger about me being so blind... :furious:

I haven't watched it nor will I.. I can't. I need widescreen to be happy.

It will not happen from now on.

Oh how I agree with you on this. I hate that they do that, I know they are just trying to make money but come on, not everyone is rich enough to go out and buy all the editions and directors cut along with the original dvd itself. They should just release the movie with all that stuff on there already.

Down With Love. I remember when I saw it at the movies it was a pretty good film. Then when I saw it again on DVD, I was thinking to myself why did I waste my money buying this movie.

totally agree here with you! I have when a better version comes out, then you are stuck with your crap version or spending more money on the same DVD! damn it pi$$es me off when they do that.......

I regret buying JEM, seasons1 and 2...I loved it as a kid, and saw it and bought it for the memories, but started watching it and didnt really like it! Although I think its because I like the later seasons better, the early ones were pretty bad

First Season of AMerican Dreams, I love this show, and wanted to see the first season again, and watched them thru once, but its not something I watch often, and probably wont get the other seasons, and this was alot of money, like 80 bucks!!!!!

also Pearl Harbor and Chicago, just cause I NEVER watch them

Ju-Oun 2 (The Grudge 2) and Dark Water.

Both of them the Japanese version and both of them I regretted watching. Although I managed to resell them :D

Question... i was gonna get S.W.A.T for my dad for fathers day is it really just soooo not worth while?

I bought "Peter Pan" (2003) and loved everything about it as I had back in December when I saw it in theaters, like, five times...then I bought the DVD, and it was Full Screen...and I'd meant to get Wide Screen, but the letters are so friggin' small on the cover that I wouldn't have known the difference without a magnifying glass. And I couldn't return it 'cause I'd opened it. So in that respect I regretted buying it. Funny thing is I traded it in for ROTK today at Blockbuster and only had to pay $12.99...some special they're having. I was stoked. :)

Long story short, I don't buy something unless I know I'll like it. I waste my money buying to rent, not buying to own.

I  that movie. It's like a total 80s flick. It's just soo cheesy. But, I can understand why you hated it.

Ok.
The Matrix Reloaded.
- for some reason, it seemed alot cooler in the movie theater then it did, when I bought it. lol.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
- at first I thought the hottness of all 4 women would make it a great buy. but, the movie sucked, and I wish I just rented it.

S.W.A.T
- do i need an excuse?

No way I love the movie! Anyway another one I regret buying is Johnny English. Its funny and kind of silly but not one I watch often.

hmmmm....
-dont say a word
-panic room
roadkill
-40 days and 40 nites

n prob a few other i bought them coz i hadnt seen them, wud be cheeper if i rented but no :/

I asked my dad to buy this movie for me a couple of years ago, they had a deal on in Virgin Megastores 4 DVD's for £20 so he let me, my sister and mum purchase one too. Sarah Michelle Gellar used to be my idol anything she did I bought it no questions asked so I chose Harvard Man and hated it. This movie taught me a lesson never buy a movie without watching it first.

I wouldn't buy the DVD myself, but it was an alright movie. Nothing spectacular or anything. What I loved most was that I recognized the places they were at. I remember driving along the freeway while they were actually filming a scene. :D

I would have to say Clueless. I used to love this movie when I was younger and would watch it all the time so when I went out and bought the movie a couple of years ago I never watched it. It doesn't have any special features either and it was a lot of money when it first came out but it's alot cheaper now.

The first season of One Tree Hill, I got caught up in some of the characters and did an impulse buy. Now I don't watch it and the show has gone downhill. It's my biggest regret of all my dvd purchases.

I tried watching Napoleon Dynamite because people said it was funny but it just stupid. Not stupid funny but just funny. I really didn't see what the big deal was.
