I don't think not buying the other 2 Terminator's is a big deal. I think the movie is in a class within itself. It's a classic, moreso then the original. And the 3rd one was horrible.
I bought Suburban Girl as an impulse buy because I like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin. Figured a movie with both of them would be great, but I was extremely disappointed. I never watch it and it's gathering dust.
i didn't see it before buying it..but i figured that was ok cause it has so much critical acclaim..and i watched it..and i don't see the big deal..is it horror? political satire? comedy? what? lol. The monster is cool though

I kind of regret buying Rope - I got it because I saw it, thought I'd never find it anywhere else and then realised my school library had it out: It's a good movie, but definitely a lesser Hitchcock work and my main problem is that it's the kind of movie you can only watch once. James Stewart is miscast and it's really just not good enough to demand repeated viewings. I'll probably just leave it in my DVD shelf unless I find some way of selling it or something.
Another one is The Thin Man (the first one): I bought it second hand for $7 because it sounded cute. It was - I like William Powell and Myra Loy dynamic - but it's another one that I just don't feel the need to watch again. I think I'm going to give it away though, so that's not so bad.
The Avengers.
It was very expensive and I never watched it. It was one of my favorite movies of that time but I guess that when I got the DVD I stopped liking it.
I dont have a HUGE collection of DVDs and boxsets..I only have about 40..but I dont regret buying any of them
I'm picky when it comes to buying DVDs brand new. The reason I have as many as I do is only because a local videostore was going out of business a couple of years ago and was selling their dvds dirt cheap. I remember getting Robots and ..I think it was SinCity? for $7..together. $3.50 a movie, especially when they were still relatively new..not a bad deal.
And yet, when people look at my collection they see I have two versions of LOTR for all three movies (extended and the theatre version) , and ask me why the hell I would do that?..because I do have my weaknesses...I would buy any version of LOTR that came out in the future..even if the additions werent that many or that great. Its just a weakness I have
There is one movie in my collection that isnt even open. Ever After. But I didnt even buy it, someone gave it to me as a gift..( uhmmm..why, I don't know  )..I regret that it was given to me...but that doesnt count
'Drop Dead Gorgeous' and 'The Notebook.'
They were was on sale, and I thought I'd love them.
For DDG, I probably watched it once or twice then stopped enjoying it.
The NB, I watched it a couple of times, but after RG & RM broke up, I kinda lost interest in keeping it. I will watch it however, if it's on tv.
I brought them to Blockbuster and got like two dollars for each of them.
Now I'm super careful and only buy stuff with a lot of extras and I know it's a movie, I'll watch over and over again.
Haha, Signs is one of my all time fave movies. There was a time where I would watch it everyday. :sigh: Love it!
Freddie wow... I know the feeling. Sometimes I buy stuff I haven't seen on purpose so I have something to watch when there's nothing on tv or in case we have company. It always works.
I saw Knockaround Guys at the theatre and I regretted going. It was such.....an anticlimatic movie. I don't know. It was just dull. Barry Pepper was the best thing about the movie, but he didn't save it.
I kind of regret buying Terminator 2 on DVD. Not because I didn't like the movie, but because I really don't plan on buying the other two for some reason...
