I regret buying the Darkest Knight DVD. On the front of the dvd, it had these awesome dragons around a castle. And the back summary was good, so i bought it at my video store, and i hated it...it was nothing like the summary on the back. :(

-Cast Away
-AI Artificial Intelligence
-The Family Man

I regret buying them cuz they arent really movies i would like to watch over again

'The Departed'- I saw it at the movies and thought it was really good so I bought it and watched it and went 'thats not that great after all'

both 'Kill Bill's'- I saw them and really loved them and had that idea my head in my head for years before i bought them and then i recentley bought and saw one on tv and was like 'this is so bad'

That's what I try to do as well. I try to see them beforehand. Especially now that I'm kind of broke. Gotta make it count when I get crazy and buy a movie. lol

I have a situation like this. My brothers keeps buying terrible movies! I feel horrible when he's like, "Hey, I got you some DVDs" and it's all Mall Cop and Street Kings. :( I have probably over 10 to 15 movies he got me I have never seen and it breaks my heart. Then he asks if I liked them and I have to keep telling him I haven't had time to see them.

Psycho, the bad re-make. Still in plastic after 5 years. What a waste. I thought it was the original, but I should have known better -- I got it at Wal-Mart.

I think Uptown Girls I thought it was cute and all but I don't know if I will watch it again i should watch it again I probably would like it more who knows. :)

I absolutely HATE! when that happens. It's insulting to movie fans. Just wait and release the big set once and for all. Don't make us buy the same thing more than once, twice, etc. Ugh.

That's why I refuse to buy HD DVDs/Blu Ray versions of movies I already own. I just got a new HD tv but haven't bought an HD player. I'll wait it out.

I recently sold about twenty of my dvds, including two televsion box sets....and I didn't really have that many to begin with. I have a new rule now that if I'm not going to watch it more than once, I don't buy it. Anything I owned that I watched only once I got rid of. My tastes also changed from when I first started buying dvds.

If I remember right, I got rid of Matrix, Matrix Reloaded, Animatrix, Terminator 2, Timeline, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Fast and the Furious, and a quite a few others I don't remember.

I still have some I'm thinking about selling.

If you'd still like a chance to trade those DVD's, check out SonicSwap.com. This goes for everyone who's posted on here...one man's trash is another man's treasure. I've acquired quite a collection of CD's and DVD's from using this site...click on the link below for more info:

Better off Dead-I love John Cusak, but the movie was really dumb and random.

MadTV Season 1 - I like MadTV, however, most of the sketches are just pretty lame on it.

I also regret all the Full Screen DVD's I bought. For a few years all I would buy were Full Screen and now I can't stand them, although I've spent too much money and replaced all of them.

Abandon with Katie Holmes and Benjamin Bratt.

Other than that one I've never bought a movie I didn't dislike. And I buy a lot of movies that I've never seen before.

I regret purchasing There's Something About Mary, Goodfellas and The Bourne Identity.

No, not that I hated these movies, quite the opposite, it was because they are single discs and now each is SE with a 2nd disc. That really annoys me when studios decide to do that. Grr.

I hear The Lost Boys is coming out on a two-disc set. Guess I'll regret buying the original copy...oh well, can always sell the old one like when I get the R1 Underworld DVD next month... :D

Hmmmm....it would have to be actually Catch And Release, I had to buy it from Blockbuster Video after failing to return on its due date. If I had to do it all over again, I would've defintely waited until it came on cable. I didn't even watch it, it was the week before my wedding and I totally forgot about it.

Oh well, a lesson learned....
