I bought a DVD VCR Recorder Combo (around $200.00) that works wonderfully...until now. About a month ago, I was watching a VCR Cassette tape and I went to fast forward and at the exact moment, the power went out. So after the power came back on, I got the cassette tape out and went to put it back in to watch it and after around 7 seconds, it shuts down automatically and when you turn it back on, it ejects the tape and says Eject R. It does this with every tape! Now I can't record a VCR to DVD because the VCR is broke.
This is an expensive thing, so my mom doesn't want me to take it apart to look at it...I've fixed some VCR's before, but never one like this. Please tell me how to fix it...or at least what eject R stands for...please...I've searched everywhere and can't get any info about it. Please help!!!
*By the way, I was talking to a guy who is very good at this stuff, and he said eject R has to do with a belt...if that helps any...
