Hi. I just bought an old DMR-EZ17 DVD recorder from a thrift store. It seems to play and record great.
Until I bought some DVD-RAM discs. I bought TDK Type IV 4.7GB single-sided discs. They are 3x/2x.
The player just says "Incompatible disc" and won't let me format it or anything. The manual says it's supposed to play and record on DVD-RAM. Do I have the wrong speed or type? I tried it in and out of the cartridge. Same result.
What have I done wrong? What type do I need for this machine? Is there any way I can use these?
Thanks.
