my friend has just come back from canada. she has bought a film. which player ok on her own dvd player... so when i borrowed the film, it will not play on any of my 4 dvd players..

what is so special about hers...

SounRAB like hers is multiregion: try applying a hanRABet hack to one of your DVD players - if you have four then chances are that one of them should be made 'Region 0' with a remote control!

Some of the models probably won't be, either because 1) the model hasn't yet been added to the list 2) it's an un-named player clone or 3) that make/model isn't hackable with a hanRABet (eg Toshiba, Sony, etc)

You didn't list your players so I couldn't say which ones have a hack for sure. Did making them multiregion help play the disks?

i have a philiphs dvdr 70 and a sharp, it mentions no sharps at all
