DVD Boxsets

I am probably posting this in the wrong place but thought who better to ask than film lovers. Basically I have some boxsets I am looking to get rid of (Superman, Lethal Weapon and Indiana Jones) And was wondering if anybody could recommend anywhere to sell them other than places online such as ebay or play.com as I have had bad experiences with them in the past. Possibly highstreet shops that might take them off my hanRAB for a fair price? I know of one near to where I live but I phoned them and explained what I had and was told they would only pay me 50p per boxset which is absolutely disgraceful considering that I paid around

Or Amazon which like Play.com allows members sell their stuff. The only difference with Amazon is that you have the choice to charge for post and packaging.

Have a look at the prices on Playtrade and Amazon to see if the sets are worth anything .
Unless they are recent or deleted then you will find that secondhand dvd's are virtually worthless.
Boxsets can sell for as little as fiver.

Amazon commission fees make ebay look generous and you can only charge

What's this thing about the postage change? especially on Play.com. Don't you just add what you think the postage will be into your price that you want to sell.

I wanted to try and sell my House box set on it.

I fully understand that they are coming down in price but my main problem was the only highstreet place I knew of nearby was only offering 50p per boxset which is out right ridiculous. And I will not ever using things like ebay, amazon or play again as have had bad experiences in the past.

xDanny recommended Cex which I have checked out today and they are offering what I deem as fair ammounts for them. I am now also looking to take other things along with the DVRAB to Cex tomorrow.

Yes that is the problem.
Ebay and Play both take a cut of what you charge for the item .

Until last year Ebay allowed you to charge postage for dvd's so their fee did not include a percentage of the postage but now that it is included in the sale price they get a larger amount - double in some cases.

Same problem with Play and Amazon.

Amazon do let you charge
