Yesterday I decided to show my brother Kyle a movie that he loved and still loves called Popeye. I got the DVD, and he just had this smile. A smile that he had when he was little watching this movie. We shared a memory, a memory that will forever be locked in my mind and in my heart.

I told him, "Kyle, I will leave this DVD right here, so if you feel like watching it, watch it".

He smiled back, and said, "Thanks". :) :sigh:

That's quite a collection! Wow.

I have The American President on DVD too. It's one of my favorite movies ever. I could watch it every day.

i liked TF. I saw it once in theaters and i rented it today. For me, it was one of the ones where it seemed betetr the second time lol

Ok that is def. where i'm going lol

Yeah unfortunately. At Target or Best Buy it's $22 so I'm going there tomorrow.

Alert to classic animation fans: Droopy - The Complete Theatrical Collection is out. 24 cartoons similar to the two Tom & Jerry Collections released.

I thought Wanted was out on DVD already, I was shocked when I watched a commercial for it the other day! Hee.

TDK will be totally be squee worthy! :yay:

I really want to get those, i only have them in a VHS set...which is so torn up right now. I've seen the boxes and they are so nice!

I got POTC 2, Superman Returns and Click DVDs for Christmas! That reminds me i need to watch them! :gone:

Disney is actually pretty smart with how they sell their products.

They tell you it's limited and then take it away later---and then they re-release them with new stuff.

This makes people run out and buy it as soon as it goes on sale, and then when they re-release it, people go back out and buy the new product just to get the new extras.

It's no good for the average movie buyer but it's still smart business.

does anyone have the alien vs predator total destruction collection...if so...are they all in widescreen and are they each in their own slimcases or do they share???

I love movies and I am a moviholic!

I have over 675 DVD's.

Recently I purchased Fallen starring Denzel Washington, which is an amazing movie.

I also bought The American President starring Michael Douglas and Annette Benning. Fantastic movie, great story.

I squee every time I see the commercials for the Wanted DVD release. :look:

I'll probably squee even more for The Dark Knight though. :D

Good luck with that :)

I drove to Videoezy store because they had a sale on and I got Nancy Drew movie and I got 10 Things I Hate About You movie

ETA:
I got "Little Secrets" ....cute movie and "The Boy Who Could Fly" 80s movie :D

Wow, you buy a lot of DVDs.

I was so obsessed with Equilibrium a few summers ago. Such a cool flick.

Added Pan's Labyrinth and The Fountain to my collection (It's getting closer and closer to 600).

Have seen Pan's a few times in the theatre. Hopefully The Fountain is good--haven't seen it yet.

Just bought 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' DVD. It's cool because it has the 2008 movie, the original 1950s version, as well as a digital copy for the computer.

It includes a commentary, deleted scenes, a feature on Gort and then a feature called "Look to the Skies: The Search for Extraterrestrial Life" (or something of that nature.) So can't wait to see these features!

I see. I want the Blu-ray version but I don't have a Blu-ray player. :pout: I'm holding off for now just in case I can get a Blu-ray player next month.

Added The Illusionist and Stomp the Yard. The Illusionist I actually enjoyed the first time I saw it. Stomp the Yard I hope I enjoy.
