I bought "American Girl Movies Set box" there are 3 movies, "Molly" "Felicity" and "Samantha" :D

Their are books but they turned into movies as well :)

recently bought the breakfast club "the highschool reunion collection" its wasnt too expensive either.

i already had the movie but i bought this one of the premise that it had a interview extra with some of the cast. It was good to see that ally, judd and Anthony michael hall came back for the interview ot speak about their characters and the other two characters as well and the fact that john kapelos was there too wasn't to short of an a interview piece so it was definatly worth its money.

I want to pick up Fearless, Gridiron Gang and TCM: The Beginning, not sure when i'll be able to do that though.

I got Superman Returns, Underworld Evolution, X-Men The Last Stand, Pirates Of The Carribbean Dead Man's Chest and The Patriot for Christmas. I just watched POTC DMC and now I am going go watch the Patriot.

Mostly for the movie...but if there are two DVD's out and one has more special bonus features, I'll buy the more expensive one with the extras.

I have a huge issue with buying DVD's...maybe someone can help me out! I have over 500 DVD's and I can't stop myself from blowing like 100 bucks in one shopping trip on movies. I'll buy movies I haven't even seen yet, and then I'll never get around to watching them at my house. It's an addiction, and I don't really wanna stop, but my wallet is saying otherwise (as well as the space in my house...) I also am a bit anal about making sure everything is in it's place--they are all alphabetical (They used to be alphabetical by genre--but that was way too time consuming--and some movies could fit into two catagories and then I'd have a huge decision to make--that's another issue though :D ) I also type them up in excel and make sure that it is immediately updated when I come home.

HELP! :D

Well that sucks! Is there a special edition one that has more special features on it?

Recently purchased

- Fantastic Four
- Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire

Here is an updated list of Blu-ray releases through June that I compiled. For all the new releases the DVD release date would be the same. Are there a lot of Blu-ray owners in here? I have not watched a DVD since 2006. Hope this calendar helps.

Blu-ray Release Schedule (Jan. 20 - June 2009)

I got the dvd for the dark knight today...i tell you... they went real skimpy with the special features...

Personally, I feel the trailers are the most important part of ANY DVD. Commentaries are cool but some are boring and pointless. Trailers are awesome all the time.

I sometimes gather up a few DVDs and have a trailer/teaser marathon.

Last movies I bought on DVD:

-The New World
-Losing Isaiah
-Mansfield Park

Is there anything in the new edition of The Princess Bride that I don't have in my previous edition of the Princess Bride? I like the two covers but the special features seem familiar to me.

And a general question to the list (I think based on the rules this is allowed, but if it isn't let me know and I'll edit it out):

Do you buy DVDs mostly for the movie or the special features?

I've already gotten a countdown going for the release of The Dark Knight. :D And I figure I'll get Wanted that day too, even though that movie's supposed to be released a week earlier.

i can't wait to buy Underworld:Evolution on June 6th, it has to be one of my favorite movies. they have Len Wiseman on audio commentary on the dvd too.

The last dvd I watched is the classic fairytale movie "Cinderella Part2" and Part1. The last dvd I purchased is the Casper the Movie and Dora. I purchased it because the kids like it.

The Abyss is one of my favorites, look it up on IMDB, great movie.

The Crucible is about the salem witch trials and stars Daniel Day Lewis and Winona Ryder.

The Four Feathers stars Heath Ledger and Kate Hudson, great story, sad but awesome performance from Heath!
