during what time of development is a human baby called an embryo before it moves on to become a fetus?

From fertilization until the two pro-nuclei in the egg fuse (in humans, usually about 2 hours post fertilization) to form a zygote, this is the pre-embryo stage.

From zygote to first cell division (in humans, usually about 24 hours post fertilization, this is the start of the embryonic stage.

From first cell division to 8 weeks of development is the human embryo stage. After 8 weeks of development is the fetus stage.
