Dude, where's my car?

unforgiven, can i say i completely sympathize / empathize / understand how you must have felt? had two cars stolen. i'm sure you were around when i posted the pic of how the one that came back looked when they found it.

One time, the radio was stolen from my car. Damn it, we left the face on the player. Anyway, I thought it was totally stupid (of course I was displeased) and I voiced my opinion of that infront of my father. He scolded me and told me those people weren't stupid, that they just didn't have much of a choice. I thought that was stupid of him to say but somehow he made me feel stupid for saying it..It was stupid though.

Stop calling me stupid!

Heh.

One time at work, somebody parked a stolen car illegally. We called to get it towed... it was stripped of most of its nice parts (apparently it originally had hydraulics, and a ton of engine mods). That's a pretty good way to ditch a stolen car (not that I condone stealing cars in the first place).

everyone has a choice. for instance, if someone said "steal trhat radio or i will beat your ass" i woould CHOOSE to steal the radio, because i domnt give a fuck about your radio, but i do care about my ass. there is always a choice. just nit always the right one.

yeah, i felt that way until i was like 21. then i started to understand..

with joyriders like your guys, they probably just need to be sent to rehab and a shitload of community service, so they can ponder why you don't take other people's shit.

with people like my car thieves, the system needs to make it so people don't grow up so fucking desperate. where were their parents to instill into them values, like "don't take and sell someone else's things?"

violence really does beget violence. monkey see, monkey do. it's the truth and it's very destructive. i used to believe in corporal punishment in addition to capital punishment. now i dislike both.
