Ducati Leather Jacket Sizing / Fit.... HELP!

Hey guys! I was hoping you could help me out. I was looking to purchase the Ducati Hi-tech leather Jacket but I have to order it online. I dont really know how their sizes run. I have a technic leather thats a size 48 and it fits perfectly. Does Ducati apparel (Leather) run true to size or would I be better off getting a size 50?

I appreciate your input!

??? Meaning??? Is the sizing that small? I need to know if a size 48 or 50 U.S. is going to be too small. Do they run small?

I have the Technic in a 48, Joe rocket in a 46, and an older Ducati Foggy in a EU 58. Ducati uses EU sizeing.
Im 6' 200 lbs with a 34" waist.

So I own the Hi-Tech jacket. As a reference, I wear a 42L suit coat. I want the body fit from the Dainese 52 (EU size/42 US size), but the sleeves are too short. If you have long limbs or torso you may need to go up 1 size from your usual. I bought the 54 to get a good sleeve length when I am on the bike. I am 6' 160lbs but my inseam is only a 32 so I am all upper body length....oh well.

BTW, why do you need to order on line? Is there anywhere you can try on a Dainese jacket? The fit will be very very similar across all their line.

On a side note, I absolutely love this jacket. I wear it year round. Liner in for the cold days with a windproof LS shirt under it and am perfectly fine. In the summer I only have overheating issues when it is 100+ outside, when I will swap to my Air-Tex, but it lacks the armor so.... Liner out and vent open.

Hope that helps.

So a 58 EU in the Ducati should be good? I am about the same size as you, 5'11 200 lbs athletic. I hope it fits, lol.. I hate ordering stuff online without being able to try it on.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info Joel. I wear a 40 R suit coat and I am not sure what I wear with the dianese jackets. I dont have a local dealer that sells them so that makes it a bit more difficult. I dont have super long arms so i hope length wont be the issue. I am pretty athletic though so I have broad shoulders which is where I am concerned. The 48US technic fits me well although it even may be a bit toght.

This is such a pain, lol...

I do love the jacket thgouh! I am glad to hear you enjoy yours. Did you pick it up from a dealer or online? Know where I can get a good deal on it?

Def' will fit ya, but depends on how tight you like the fit to be. A 56 would probably work, just tighter through the body and sleeves. Remember the liner will also change how it fits a bit. If you have designs to wear anything heavier than a t-shirt under it I would probably go to the 58.....
