I did a search out here and didn't see anything so I thought I would load this up because I think its pretty cool. Almost as cool as my bike.
This one came with my 1996 M900. It is solid silver. It was Cagiva NA at the time that had the promotion. It works the same way as the red card Ducati gives out today with bikes. Roadside assistance etc. etc. It has tarnished a few times and I keep cleaning it with silver polish. I have heard that there were at least 4 different coins minted from 94-98 as far as I know so lets see if its true. Tell us what you know about them. Each coin was given its own number. Mine shows DM 02971 on the rim. I'm thinking that DM stands for Ducati Motorworks instead of Ducati Monster since other coins were given out with different bikes in different years. At first I thought the number lead back to the bike it self but I checked the numbers and they do not match. Anyway, if you have one load up a pic of the front and back.
Here is mine.
