My buddy just bought a 955 (R?) replica racer with many original 955 parts.. This is an exact replica (according to him) right down to the Brembo billet controls ect.. Besides the fact that it's in a 998 frame with a 999R motor.. The fact the builder is a detail freak is very obvious even at quick glance. Once you take off the c/f fairings the attention to detail is astounding.. The paint quality is superb, can't describe how wonderful and perfect it is..

Oh-ya.. My question... I never heard of this model.. Have any of you?.. Details?..

You-da-man... The red/white combo is it.. Except this one (buddy's) has much more poop with the R motor and the same weight wet..

Isn't a 955 a race kited 916. I could be wrong about this but a couple of years ago I talked to a guy selling a 955, as I recall he told me that a 955 is a 916 with a factory race kit. His bike had a digital dash much like our 1098's and a carbon swingarm, I dont think these items are stock 955 parts but the bike was really cool, he claimed RWHP was 155 Im a little skeptical about that figure but the bike was cool
 
Doh.... Another great idea why didn't I think of that!!

I'll try to get some asap... Might have to ask one of you to post-em for me.. Never had any luck with this techo stuff..
