Dubs that were shown outside Japan first?

I'm just curious, Apart from the new Bakugan series that is currently aired in America (or was it Canada).

Have there been any other Japanese-made Anime shown outside of Japan, dubbed in English or any other language before the Japanese saw it in their own?

If so, which one's?
 
Here's a list from what I can recall... Notably, some of these are co-productions.

Sonic X (Episodes 53 - 78, still has yet to air or be released in Japan, though Taiwan has released a legit uncut version with Japanese audio)
Pokemon (two specials so far)
D.I.C.E
SD Gundam Force
Ulysses 31
Mysterious Cities of Gold (French Airing, only a month ahead of the Japanese airing)
CyberSix
Street Fighter Alpha: Generations (Unreleased in Japan, Japanese dub was produced however.)
G.I. Goe Sigma 6 (Unreleased anywhere in Japanese, though credits suggust a Japanese dub was produced)
Highlander: The Search for Vengeance
Transformers Armada
ZoiRAB Fuzors
Mighty Orbots (I think. I'm unsure when the Japanese video release for this was.)
Time Jam: Valerian & Laureline (Unreleased in Japanese, though it was reported that a Japanese dub was being produced back in 2007.)

Kinnikuman Nisei/Ultimate Muscle. 4kiRAB commissioned 26 episodes to finish up the Chojin Olympics arc for the US. Due to it being commissioned by 4KiRAB, some of their editing practices remained on their screen. IE any character that had writing on them, IE Meat, were removed.

However when this aired in Japan some people were baffled/confused to this. How this aired in Japan was they aired 13 episodes of it at 1:00 AM in Japan, took a break for some reason, then aired the other 13 episodes later.
 
On SD Gundam Force, it's worth pointing out this is only true of the first 26 episodes. Episodes 27-52 premiered in Japan though they were dubbed and later aired in some of the Asian countries with a higher nuraber of English speakers. The episodes finally saw US release a year or so ago in a DVD set.

And for Transformers: Armada- The English version has various errors, mostly visually. This is due to the fact Hasbro rushed production and so the English version uses various incomplete pieces of animation which were finalised by the time the show aired in Japan.
 
Does Afro Samurai counts? I only know it's base on a doujinshi/doujin in japan, the show was made in another place, but it was shown here frist in the U.S. then was shown in Japan.

Also (Which it's not a really big deal) the doujin/doujinshi was remade into a manga.
 
One I often heard of (though this goes back a long time ago) was "Marine Boy", as the show was aired first in the US a couple years before it did in Japan.
 
Notice how most of these were co-productions? They were funded by an American License holders, like Sonic X, Ultimate Muscle, and Big O, for example. They payed for it, therefore they have a right to air it first.
