My E61 has some sort of Dual IMSI SIM support embedded in it.
I dont know where to find detailed information about how it REALLY works. I know you can only have one SIM activate at the time and you can switch which SIM you are using without rebooting the phone.
HOWEVER, I need to know about other factors :
- How quick is it to switch SIM? As fast as going offline and then back online?
- Can I make an automatic SIM switch depending on which phone numbers I dial? Can it then switch back to the default SIM once the call is over?
- Can I limit all GPRS activites to one SIM? That way I dont use up GPRS on the wrong account?
- Can there be a trigger set to switch SIM? IE - When I receive a phonecall, automatically transfer to the other SIM's phone number and then switch SIM?
Lastly, if you know more about the functionality of dual SIM, please inform me or direct me to an ideal webpage. Google only gets me general information so far.
