I have a single cab 07 Dodge Ram V6 and I want to get a dual exhaust setup. I really want a Flowmaster Super 44 or two. One muffler shop owner said I could only get one muffler since I have a Dodge but then said "Well, I can put two mufflers on there but it will add $50 to labor costs".

What will be the best sounding Flowmaster setup for my truck? Should I go with 2 flowmaster super 44's or just one? Will 2 sound jacked up on a V6 truck? I looked up super 44 videos on Youtube and they sound sweet.

I want two pipes sticking straight out the back of my truck.

it definitely will sound better if you put them direct, as in no pipes, just cut off,...that's what my husband did to his and it sounds better

with a v6 i would only run a single 44 muffler, flowmaster makes a 44 with a single input, and with 2 outlets. i wouldnt cut off your mufflers like other people are saying, sounds cheap and will get the cops to write ya tickets

I wouldn't waste your money on two mufflers; having a V6, one will definitely do. The setup will work just fine, and I doubt anyone would ever know the difference.
