DST Patch for S60 v3 Phones?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is / is going to be a Daylight Savings Patch similar to the Windows Mobile one (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/daylightsaving/default.mspx) for s60 phones?

Perhaps it's not needed?

No, s60 phones automatically update the time with the network, so if Cingular switches at midnight, so does your phone.

I think that is a setting, actually. (Update using Carrier's time.) The DST patch is particularly relevant for people who synchronize with an Exchange server.

well my N93 aint changing with DST

im in the UK which has DST
and when i want to check Hong Kong time (which doesnt have DST) in world time
the times wrong

should i turn network operator time to on??

I refuse to use that network time feature. Remember being burned by it too many times on old Series 40 phones as well as the 6600.

AMEN! Sometimes when the phone restarts (either manually or automatgically) many times my Clock is off mark. I have to go and put it on local time, wait a minute and then re-engage network time. It may even take two attempts sometimes. GRRrrrrr.

Really? I think the ONLY time I've ever had a problem with the network time is when my N80 was an hour off, but that was an N80 issue. Oh, and I think it took longer than 5 minutes to grab the right time from a tower when I got off a plane. . .but that's it? That's weird that you've had such a hard time with it.

Any suggestions? It is doing the n80 problem with my e50. I really would like it to work properly.
