*DS Ratings Prediction Game: Season 12*

:D

Did you predict highly purely because of the name?

I considered that as well. It is definitely an attention grabbing title for a programme, whether or not that will translate into lots of viewers I don't know!

Predictions sent.

Thanks, as ever, to Dancc.

Thanks also to Roscoe for the schedule. Nice range of shows and I'm hopeful I should get at least some points for a special for a change (thanks to the Mentalist).

Yes, I went high just because I liked the name :o. The name's enough to tempt me to watch it, though, so I thought it could be a surprise hit. It'd be nice if it was, just to see what they end up naming the sequel...

Week 2: Thursday Update

- Bang Goes The Theory (3.2m) averaged 2.2 points. No 5ers were scored.
- Wonderland: Boy Cheerleaders (1.0m) averaged 2.0 points. Pizzatheaction and Score achieved 5ers.
- Film 2010 with Claudia Winkleman (1.1m) averaged 1.5 points. Avalanche and Dancc scored 5ers.
- MiRABomer Murders (BACKUP- 5.2m) averaged 2.4 points. No 5ers were scored.

The current leader with 20 points is: Pizzatheaction.

Here is the leaderboard in full:

* Average score: 14.2 points.
* I don't like to brag or anything but today's biggest movers are myself (!) and Avalanche, up 11 places each.
* Tonight sees the return of BBC One's Thursday night comedy block after a 19 week absence, with both Have I Got News For You and Reggie Perrin making returns. Check back tomorrow to see how you get on with your predictions for those, among other shows.

Schedule A is a bit of a tight one! Can you remind me which week I'm producing the schedule for, dan? I believe it's sometime in November...

Week 2: Wednesday Update

- Live International Football: England v Montenegro (6.1m) averaged 1.4 points. No 5ers were scored.
- Fringe (BACKUP- 0.2m) averaged 3.2 points. FunkmasterT, Georged123, Pizzatheaction, remy and rzt scored 5ers.

The current leader with 15 points is: deanieboy.

Here is the leaderboard in full:

* Average score: 8.6 points.
* Not much change overnight with the footie coming in below expectations.
* Tonight sees the return of Film 2010. I must admit I was surprised at how high the predictions were in general for this show (1.8m average). Earlier this year when Wossy was host it only had about 700,000 viewers in a slightly later slot. So I will be hoping to make up some ground with my 1.1m prediction after a disappointing start to the week for me!
